Hi there! I’m Al Fontanilla, a storyboard artist, illustrator, and ice-cream swirler extraordinaire. I’ve been drawing since I developed basic motor skills and have no plans to stop any time soon. An experienced storyboard artist, matte painter, and character designer, my work is focused on creating and celebrating the whimsical, fantastical, and odd. To me, art and animation is the greatest and most beautiful escape, and allows everyone from every and anywhere to find themselves the heroes of their own story. I strive to create and contribute to works that celebrate the lives and experiences of many different people, and make worlds where everyone has a place and opportunity to live out the adventures they always dreamed of.
